Mrs. Savage is a widow who was left with a fortune of $200,000,000. She lavishly gives her money away for zany projects. She even buys a theater in NY, writes a terrible play and plays the lead.
Her stepchildren have her committed to a mental institution in the hope of finding the money and recovering it. She leads them on a zany wild goose chase to find the money.
The residents of the institution are a delightful group of unique people. Mrs. Savage demonstrates the power of love and caring in many unique ways to the residents.
This play opened on Broadway years ago and has been performed many times across the U.S.
